Alternatively: What happens when a former angel, a proclaimed deity of sacrifice, an anomaly, a gay hunter, a wanted criminal and a real psychic walk into a bar?
Carinae Timelines is an OCverse (Original Character Universe) based around ROBLOX, created by @kaapinon.ROBLOXIA is set as its main universe. CTL mostly takes place in one planet, nicknamed “The Planet” by its people. On the planet resides the only Axial Rift of Robloxia, and surrounding it is the six regions on the continent “Carinae”, each region respectively named after long-crafted stories of the underworld.
What lies beyond the Axial Rift’s dark webs, consequently shaped as the respawn symbol, is the Spawn’s Point: Robloxia’s True Place of The Dead, and within its branches, Scripter’s Place: Her very first Roblox creation.
… So What Is It About?

CTL's story revolves around Carinae's society and the polytheistic religion of "Scripterism", the very belief that crafted this established world-order often referred to as "The Rebirth".The Rebirth is described to be the framework for all robloxians' roles that they take living around the Axial Rift. This so-called role that all robloxians are predisposed to at an early age is the role of "moderating the Axial Rift" and "gratifying the Scripters" as they have done the same to them millennia ago. In Scripterism, this is done in order to reactivate the scripters again for the attainment of a true paradise much akin to what heaven would be as it ostensibly collapsed and was lost as a concept with their sudden inactivity.However, in Carinae's modern society, many robloxians choose to go about this belief very casually, whereas in certain areas they take it to the extreme. Such prominent examples can be seen with the big factions and organisations in Carinae.
CTL’s story manifests as a tetralogy, being split up into four different distinct epochs. Its divided up in titles of CTL_I, CTL_II, CTL_III, CTL_IV, though it primarily focuses on CTL_III. The time period between II, III and IV is not very far compared to I.I takes place centuries back during one of Carinae’s major historical events: the Canopus’ Overhaul.
The COH is what crafts the following modern world in the future...II begins 7 years before III and only details the events of each of the main characters’ lives before they all met across the 2-3 years that III spans across. It doesn’t have much of a well-defined “story” taking place than III does, rather it’s made up of significant events and character backstories even before II occurs. All events culminate into III's story.III is what we know and love and has a very marked path of story (which is almost like a dear novel or game...) It follows Keyreaver, one of the main characters, who's on their way of attempting to meet one of the scripters in person while also having another loose side quest of trying to find possible vessels of other scripters with objects, or gears left by them. Throughout the story’s progression, they begrudgingly agree to let some other five people decide to tag along, establishing the faction “AR:GO”, which, "you can blame Duellist Temperantia for that fancy-pants name."
They all proceed to unintentionally stumble upon and consequently deal with (but not entirely solve) problems that arise with each seemingly simple visit to every region in Carinae. Of course, this road they all tread upon does not go as "smooth as butter".IV would likely take place only a few years after III, as they still have a job to finish.
(Side-note: CTL is also an "unrestrictive space for me to jam all my favourite media tropes and concepts in". Essentially what this means is that I feel the irresistible desire of, quote, intricacy and explanation... so I usually expect people to somehow know what I am talking about in regards to CTL. I sincerely apologise for whenever this occurs. Worldbuilding is an enjoyable experience.)(It really does go through a lot of revisions, so there’s tons of retcons!)
